Paths is a series of drawings that examines the intricate landscapes created by tree roots as a reflection of ones personal journey of becoming.  By definition Paths are "a way beaten, formed, or trodden by the feet of persons". Under this lense these drawings offer a moment to look beneath the surface of our lives and refelect on the experiences that have shaped the paths we walk and the moments that have left their marks  along the way. I feel the works speak to a resilience that can be found both in nature and within ourselves to overcome obstacles and thrive in the conditions we find in the landscape of our lives.
